Le 68 Cologne Fond de Cuve c2013

Le 68 Cologne Fond de Cuve by Guerlain: launched in 2013.

According to Monsieur Guerlain the ""Fond de Cuve" means the remaining liquid in a tank, and this name refers to the historical fact that the alcohol used for rinsing factory vats between two macerations, thereby taking up the fragrance of the remains, was given to the factory workers for their personal use. The scent of this "cologne" was quite random, depending on which Guerlain perfume had been produced. The new Cologne de Cuve doesn't change, however, it's a fresh cologne made of bergamot, petitgrain and lavender, meant to be applied to the skin or used in the bath. The scent is actually a public launch of VĂ©ritable Eau de Cologne Pour le Bain, hitherto available only to Guerlain employees. The splash bottle contains 490 ml. "

From Guerlain:
A perfuming ritual, generous and elegant.
A formula where we find the freshness of bergamot and petit grain mixed with aromatic notes of lavender.
Ultimate refinement, reflecting the Lifestyle Guerlain.

From Guerlain:
"Originally it was created, the evocation of different unforgettable scent that could feel intermingled in the Guerlain Boutique. Balsamic notes, both sweet and woody, just energize the rose and jasmine notes. The woody patchouli and warm scrolls are revealed in the background to highlight all the voluptuousness of this candle.
A new expression of olfactory heritage Guerlain, to recreate at home a chic and typical Parisian atmosphere.
