Hello and welcome! Please understand that this website is not affiliated with Guerlain in any way, it is only a reference page for collectors and those who have enjoyed the classic fragrances of days gone by.

The main objective of this website is to chronicle the history of the Guerlain fragrances and showcase the bottles and advertising used throughout the years.

However, one of the other goals of this website is to show the present owners of the Guerlain perfume company how much we miss the discontinued classics and hopefully, if they see that there is enough interest and demand, they will bring back these fragrances!

Please leave a comment below (for example: of why you liked the fragrance, describe the scent, time period or age you wore it, who gave it to you or what occasion, any specific memories, what it reminded you of, maybe a relative wore it, or you remembered seeing the bottle on their vanity table), who knows, perhaps someone from the current Guerlain brand might see it.

Songe d'un Bois d'Ete c2012

Songe d'un Bois d'Ete: was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Thierry Wasser. Created as part of the Les Deserts d'Orient collection, available only to the Middle Eastern market.

From Guerlain:
Dark is the night… A deep night that only unveils its radiance through its intensity, adorned with touches of cedar, patchouli and myrrh. Powerful, yet caught between lightness and darkness, and extremely enveloping, Songe d’un Bois d’Eté is a modern interpretation of the concept of exoticism.
The Déserts d’Orient fragrances are housed in simple, streamlined bottles gorgeously illuminated by a shower of gold, like a symbol of riches: a sign of belonging to a world in which this precious material has always been given pride of place.
The saffron note, specially created by Thierry Wasser for the Déserts d’Orient collection, is subtle and facetted, spicy and leathery, like all Oriental treasures. It is an extremely precious raw material, as these flowers have a very short life span of about 48 hours: an ephemeral treasure.
Ideal for men and women alike.
